Combine photos into a PDF
Add photos, put them in order, and make one PDF with a photo on each page. Choose A4, US Letter or the photo's own shape, and a margin. JPEG photos go in byte for byte with no new compression, and every page is the right way up. The PDF holds no location, camera or author data. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works
- Open. Your browser opens each photo for its size and a small preview. For HEIC in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, the page loads an open source HEIC decoder from yorkvault.com.
- Clean. The tool removes the EXIF, XMP and IPTC blocks from each photo. A JPEG keeps its image data byte for byte. Its rotation becomes the way the page draws it, so it shows the right way up in every PDF reader.
- Place. Each photo goes on its own page, as large as fits inside the margin, in the center. The tool keeps the photo's color profile, so colors look the same as in a photo app.
- Write. The tool writes the PDF itself, with no author, app name, dates or ID. You download one file. Your photos do not change.
To see or remove the metadata of a photo before you share it on its own, use the location and metadata remover. To make the photos smaller first, use the image resizer.
Questions people ask
Does this tool upload my photos?
No. Your browser reads each photo and writes the PDF on your device. No photo, file name or page goes to our server or to anyone else. To check, load this page, turn off Wi-Fi, and make a PDF. The tool still works.
Does the PDF lower the quality of my photos?
Not for JPEG photos. The tool puts each JPEG into the PDF byte for byte, with no new compression. PNG, GIF and BMP images go in as exact pixels, with no loss. HEIC, AVIF and WebP photos become JPEG at 92% quality, because a PDF cannot hold those formats. Smaller file makes every page a JPEG of at most 2000 pixels, for email.
Does the PDF hold the location or the camera of my photos?
No. The tool removes the EXIF, XMP and IPTC data from each photo before it goes in, so the PDF holds no location, date, camera model or serial number. The PDF itself has no author, no app name, no dates and no ID. Many apps that make PDFs add those by default.
How do I make a PDF from photos on iPhone?
Open this page in Safari, tap Choose photos, and pick the photos from your library. Set the order with Move up and Move down, then tap Make PDF and Download PDF. Safari saves the PDF in the Downloads folder in the Files app. From there, you can share it or attach it to an email.
Which page size should I choose?
Choose A4 for most of the world and US Letter for the United States and Canada, if the PDF will be printed or sent with a form. Choose Photo size for a photo album or a slideshow: each page then has the shape of its photo, with no white space. Auto turns each page to fit its photo, so wide photos get landscape pages.
How do I put scanned documents into one PDF?
Take a photo of each page, or scan it with the camera, then add all the photos here. Use Move up and Move down to set the order, choose A4 or US Letter, and tap Make PDF. For documents with text, a margin of 10 mm gives the pages a clean edge when you print them.

Scans and IDs, kept in a vault
York Vault keeps your documents, IDs and scans encrypted on your phone, next to your photos. When you share or export a copy, it removes the location and device details by default.
